Our Commitments
At Closed at Noon we believe good design must consider sustainability and ethics .
HOW WE DO SUSTAINABILITY
Our first consideration goes beyond just our environmental impact and responsibility. We carefully select partners for production who are committed to paying living wages, keeping a safe working environment, following standard hours and providing benefits for their workers.
LESS WASTE WITH PRODUCT DROPS
- Drops help reduce overproduction by focusing on producing quantities which align more closely with actual demand.
- By producing smaller, more frequent batches, we minimize resource waste by adjusting and refining production processes based on the success of each drop.
SOURCING
We are committed to continually searching for better and more sustainable raw materials.
- When possible, our products utilize recycled materials.
- Many of our fabrics are sourced from deadstock suppliers to reduce our contribution to new textile manufacturing
PRODUCTION
- Our products are designed, cut, sewn and packaged in Arizona and California. This allows us to closely monitor our production partners. This also helps reduce carbon emissions from shipping.
SHIPPING
- Our mailers are eco-friendly and we continue to improve our sourcing for shipping supplies and vendor.s
OTHER EFFORTS
We believe a huge part of being an ethical business is giving back and supporting organizations that are doing crucial work. Here is where our donations currently go:
- Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project
- Planned Parenthood
- The Trevor Project
- American Civil Liberties Union
